Be on the lookout for these cars

General Motors has made some iconic vehicles throughout its long history. Numerous songs have been written about the Detroit iron that is Chevrolet. While we love that GM is always innovating and creating new, exciting vehicles, we also appreciate the history of the brand. It seems that many other people appreciate GM's history as well and are beginning collect certain GM vehicles. If you can find one of the cars on this list, grab it while you can as it's likely you'll see its value continually climb!

1.) 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT. The first incarnation of the Fiero didn't work out so well for GM and it was only produced for 5 years. By the end of the vehicle's run, they had gotten it right, but the public was no longer interested. As a result, the 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT is now becoming a collector's item.

2.) 1996 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport. Chevrolet only produced this model for one year to mark the end of the production of the C4 model, which means it's in limited supply.

3.) 2008 Chevrolet HHR SS. The Super Sport model of the HHR boasted bigger wheels, a respectable 260 hp, and a sport-tuned suspension. Rumor has it that this vehicle is beginning to have appeal with the hot-rodding crowd, potentially making it a future collectible.

4.) 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP. As the Pontiac brand ceased production, fans of this performance-geared line were dismayed. The name had long been synonymous with production of some of GM's most track-worthy vehicles. It's no surprise then that as Pontiac shut its doors, they produced a V8-engined, rear-wheel drive sedan with excellent handling to go out with a bang. The sporty 2009 G8 is one to look for.
